Distribution Day – The 1st Saturday of every month – 8:00 a.m. till 10:00 a.m.(July, August, September)- 8:00 a.m. till Noon the rest of the year. On the first Saturday of each month, we open our doors at St. Bartholomew’s for anyone who needs or wants free clothes. There are no restrictions or paper work. We only ask that people take what they need for themselves and their families.
We have had the special privilege of helping our brothers & sisters through EWARM (Episcopal Wichita Area Refugee Ministry) – photos of one of their visits are in the events section.
Donations – We would like to encourage donations of the following types of items: All kinds of baby and children’s clothing, Maternity Clothes, For men and Women – jeans, work slacks, sweaters, sweatshirts, knit blouses and shirts, socks, (for winter- flannel shirts, coats, jackets, caps, scarves, & gloves) Blankets and bedding, pillows, and towels. Small household items (No furniture due to limited space)
Appreciation – We have appreciated the community involvement for the Mead Middle School ROTC youths. Also we thank all who have made donations to our clothing room. We always have a need for volunteers on our distribution Saturday to hang and size clothes, and to greet our guests who have come for clothing. Please stop in to look around and visit!
